" Lights "

Autodidact, photographer of plate, then of mode (Hérald Tribune), to defer in turn, creator of the Artémédia review, then galerist, it is in 1989, during a report over the bicentenary of the Revolution that the chance makes penetrate Jean-Marc LEBEAUPIN inside the cathedral of Mans.

It is struck there by the play of the sun through the stained glasses and the coloured reflections which come to make iridescent pillars, furniture or flagstones and, in the urgency to collect this form of beauty, carries out some images which it treats in a spirit of abstraction suitable to give them force and character of eternity. They will be followed many others realized, for the majority, in Parisian churches.

" I met the beauty, one day, one day like another, with the turning of a church, and I continued it during seconds, hours, days and months. I wrote it, fixed, registered in time not to lose it, not to forget it... Elle is, full and whole there, source of life of the world... "

Beauty and light, tremor of invisible, these images question, call with the meditation on the mystery and crowned.
